What kind of vehicles does A.S. Auto sell?
At A.S. Auto, all vehicles with a chassis number and wheels can be sold, including passenger cars, company cars, motorcycles, trucks, trailers, etc.
Where do A.S. Autouse’s vehicles come from?
The cars offered for sale come from our European professional partners, including leasing companies, fleet owners, rental companies, OEMs, brand dealerships, car companies, and trading houses/auctions.

How am I protected through A.S. Auto?

How can I buy a car?
Simply click the ‘Buy Online’ button to register your purchase. After that, you will receive a proforma invoice. To proceed, you usually need to confirm and pay 50%. Once the payment is received, the sales process begins, and the car will be reserved and removed from our stock for you.
How does bidding work?
The amount you bid excludes taxes and buyer’s fees. The General Terms and Conditions of your bids always clearly indicate the costs you can expect.
Dutch company: VAT included and BPM included – GROSS
EU company: VAT excluded and BPM excluded – NET
Non-EU company: VAT excluded and BPM included
Can I cancel my bid?
Bids on A.S. Auto are binding. Once you have placed a bid, you cannot cancel it.
When will I know if a bid was successful?
In the bidding list, you can see if you have won the vehicle. The award is finalized within a maximum of 24 hours after bidding closes. You will then receive a purchase confirmation and an invoice including purchase costs.
What are the costs?
You only pay if you win a vehicle. We also charge fixed buyer’s fees. The current buyer’s fees are listed in the auction terms and conditions on the vehicle details page.
What vehicle documents do I receive?
All vehicles come with the correct registration documents, enabling you to sell or register (or re-register) them in your own country without issues. All vehicles include an RDW odometer report and type approval information (CVO/COC data).
Who describes the digital inventory?
Vehicles are described by the professional inspection department. All vehicles are inspected.
Who can register?
Anyone who is professionally or personally engaged in vehicle purchasing worldwide.
The application process is done online: simply find the car you want, click Start Purchase, choose Finance with Best Auto House, and then enter basic financial information. We will call you to inform you of the terms once you have completed the form.
How do I register?
You can easily register via the registration button. Registration with the Automotive Trade Center is completely free. To register for a viewing account, contact us. Once you have completed your registration, you will have direct access to the platform. To register for a bidding account, click here. Once your registration has been verified and approved, you will gain access to the platform within one business day.
What documents must I provide to the Automotive Trade Center to register?
To use the Automotive Trade Center platform as a company/dealer, you must provide the following:
Your direct contact details
A copy of a valid ID document
A copy of your Chamber of Commerce registration
A copy of an official tax authority document showing a valid VAT number
Full company details
For individuals: a copy of a PASSPORT/ID card.
How long does registration take?
Filling out the registration form only takes a few minutes. You can expect a response from us within one business day.
Who inspects and describes the digital inventory?
Vehicles are digitally inspected and described by professional inspection companies or by the vehicle owner using a fixed process. The Terms and Conditions clearly state who provided the vehicle description in each auction.
Why is my account blocked?
If you fail to comply with the General Terms and Conditions of the Automotive Trade Center, we reserve the right to block your account and deny you access to the Automotive Trade Center. If your account is blocked, you can contact us by email.
What are the payment terms and conditions?
For proper payment, we need the following:
The bank account name must match your registration name.
The amount must exactly match the invoice.
The invoice number and the vehicle STOCK NUMBER (shown on the vehicle description page) must be clearly stated.
The payment can be either 50% or the full amount, depending on the car and any additional conditions.
Why is the invoice higher than my bid?
Bids always exclude fixed buyer’s fees.
When will I receive an invoice with or without VAT and/or BPM?
This depends on your country of registration:
Dutch company: invoice includes VAT and BPM (gross).
EU company: invoice excludes VAT and BPM (net).
Non-EU company: invoice excludes VAT but includes BPM.
Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein belong to the European Economic Area (EEA), but are an exception. A 0% BPM rate applies in these countries.
Do I receive a payment confirmation?
Our systems check several times daily whether payment has been received. Once received, you will immediately receive a payment confirmation or a payment notification.
When must I send proof of payment?
Only with your first purchase or for occasional checks. These checks are done to build mutual trust. Otherwise, your vehicle will never be released based solely on proof of payment.
What is the payment deadline?
You must pay the invoice within 24 hours of receiving the proforma invoice and purchase contract.
When can I collect my vehicle?
The vehicle you have won will be released automatically once payment has been received (credited to the account) and the vehicle documents are ready. You will receive a pick-up message by email, which includes the storage location. We aim to keep delivery times as short as possible. For domestic transactions, the vehicle is delivered within five working days to the registered address, so collection is not necessary.
How do I know where to collect my vehicle?
The address where you must collect the vehicle is stated in your pick-up message. Vehicles are always stored in a secure location.
Can my vehicle be delivered to me?
Yes, in many cases it is possible, including for international shipments. For available options and rates, please contact the Remarketing department via email.

Where can I file a claim?
You can file a claim by email. Claims must be accompanied by a registration document, VIN, and a clear description of the issue, including photos. All claims are subject to the General Terms and Conditions.
What are the claim guidelines?
Claims over €500 are assessed individually. Claims under €500 are generally not accepted. This is part of buying a used car.
What are my options if a claim is rejected?
We value building a long-term relationship with you. If your claim is unfairly rejected, we may hire an independent expert to assess the situation and advise on a solution. The costs of hiring an expert are at your own expense.
